About Me
Welcome to my teaching portfolio. I am a passionate art educator dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences where students can develop their creativity, confidence, and artistic skills. Throughout my career, I have focused on building a classroom environment where students feel valued, take creative risks, and discover the power of art as a form of communication and connection.
As both an educator and practicing artist, I believe that creativity is a lifelong skill that extends beyond the classroom. My goal is to help students become thoughtful problem-solvers, collaborative creators, and confident individuals who are prepared to pursue future opportunities in the arts and beyond.

My Teaching Statement
I believe every student has the ability to create, communicate, and contribute something meaningful. My classroom is built around student-centered learning, exploration, and reflection. Through project-based experiences, demonstrations, collaboration, and individualized support, I guide students through the creative process while encouraging them to develop their own artistic identities.
I strive to create an inclusive studio environment where students feel safe taking risks, learning from challenges, and celebrating their growth. By connecting art to culture, personal experiences, and real-world opportunities, I help students understand that creativity is not only a skill—it is a way of thinking.
